School and Student Data Notice
A plain-language summary of how Planlark is intended to be used in school settings and how student-related information should be handled.
Last updated March 12, 2026
1. Intended users
Planlark is built for teachers, school teams, and authorized education staff. It is not intended for children to create and operate direct consumer accounts on their own.
2. School-controlled use
Where Planlark is used by a school, district, or organization workspace, that organization may control account provisioning, membership, billing ownership, and certain data-handling decisions inside the shared workspace.
3. Classroom and student information
- Users should avoid entering sensitive student information into free-form notes, attachments, or AI prompts unless they are specifically authorized to do so.
- Planlark is designed to support educator workflow data such as lesson structure, materials, homework, and reflections. It is not intended to be a general student information system.
- Schools and educators remain responsible for deciding what information is appropriate to store or process in the service.
4. AI use in educational settings
AI features can help draft or refine planning materials, but educators remain responsible for checking outputs before use with students or families.
Users should not rely on AI outputs as final determinations for sensitive student matters without human review and school authorization.
5. Integrations and attachments
When users connect Google Drive or attach third-party content, those files and links remain subject to the permissions and policies of the connected services. Schools should review whether those integrations are appropriate for their own environment before enabling them.
6. School questions and requests
For school procurement, district review, student data handling questions, or deletion requests tied to a school workspace, contact support@planlark.app.
