Practice tests

Practice test mode adds marks and a blueprint that spreads questions across your objectives so none is over- or under-tested.

Objectives and coverage

Objectives come from the class curriculum, the lesson or the unit, or you write them. Every item is tagged, and objective coverage shows what each one practises.

Edit and regenerate

Change any question or answer in place, regenerate a single item, add more, or rewrite an activity at a simpler or more challenging level.

Student and Teacher versions

The same sheet prints without answers for students and with an answer key — including the evidence for reading questions — for you.

Real pages

The preview shows the actual Letter or A4 pages that will print. Activities stay whole where they fit, headings are never left alone at the bottom of a page, and page numbers print on every page.

Reading and language controls

Set the language of the sheet, a reading level from primary to advanced (including CEFR A1–C1) and the difficulty. Student instructions follow the same language and level.

Worksheet styles and images

Clean, Classroom or Workbook styles that print in black and white; a “What to do” panel under every activity; word banks, key vocabulary and callouts. On a reading, Lark suggests a picture to look for and you add the image with its caption and source.
